Children in the Antofagasta Centro Ward

These girls are from the Antofagasta Centro (Central) Ward. It is the poorest ward in the Antofagasta Stake. The girls were soooo excited to each receive 2 new dresses that they tried them on right away! The parents were even more excited. They really examined the stitches, fabrics, patterns, etc. and are so grateful to all of the people that put so much time, effort and love into these dresses. There are 3 baby girls in the ward that received 2 blankets each, as well as booties, and many of the young boys in the ward received winter hats. The Bishop made the comment that these pictures should be in the Liahona (the Spanish version of the Ensign). We'll see!
